Sunday in Astana

I arrived in Astana as scheduled, late Saturday or early Sunday, whichever way you look at it. Not only did the client's driver meet me at 2am, but also the HR manager and her brother were there. So, three people met my plane at 2am - that sounds like going beyond the call of duty!

Cold and wet here - mid 20's and misting when I arrived. They say it may snow later this week.

Lots of building going on - there must be 12 new buildings under construction that I can see from my hotel. I didn't venture out on Sunday, but will try and get more than a block from the hotel tomorrow.

I'm +11 hours from TRH in time. So, it's almost always tomorrow here.
