It's 80 degrees and all we can see from the balcony is blue sky and bathing suits - that's what New Year's Eve is supposed to be like!!!

Saturday Night in Limassol, Cyprus

I'm here during three of the 300+ sunny days a year in Cyprus. The temperature is a high of 65 degrees, so no one on the beach, but I can imagine in the warm months that it's very different.

Thursday night in Nicosia Cyprus

I'm here in Nicosia for one more night, then going to Limassol for a long weekend. I hope the weather is good, but then again, rain is needed so badly here, that I would trade nice weather for some rain! Looking out my hotel window, this is the view -- across part of the city, into the Turkish occupied portion of Nicosia. A city split in two - what a bad situation!
