Wednesday Afternoon, After Ernesto

Ernesto turned out to be no big deal. The Breakers Hotel did a great job of keeping everyone informed and managing the whole process though. Now, just some remaining wind, clouds and big waves. Maybe tomorrow everything will be back to normal.

Tuesday afternoon in Hurricane Alley

No hotel evacuation but all activities are confined to main bldg for next 24 hours. We'll have dinner then watch Ernesto arrive..

Monday Night - waiting for Ernesto

Deborah is back at TRH for 2 days, and I'm still in West Palm Beach. The local govt will decide Tue
at 9 whether we stay or evacuate. Fun!

Wednesday Night at TRH

A couple of more days here, then to Palm Beach on Saturday with Deborah for a week, back to TRH next Saturday, then off to Saudi Arabia on Sept 3. Deborah eventually meets me in Athens Sept 29 and we vacation there for a week or so. Then I'll teach in Cyprus and finally be on US soil again October 12. Whew - its a long trip coming up!! 112 degrees in Riyadh today -- but a low of 90, so cools off at night!

Well, it's not really a couple of more days here - that includes a short trip to Richmond for a meeting Friday morning THEN take puppies to WV, and then finally to PB on Saturday morning!

Tuesday Morning at TRH Office

Diving in Thousand Islands was good - not great - but good. Viz was only 30-50 feet, not quite what we expected. But wrecks were interesting to see. Weather was great - and there are lots of islands!!!

Home for a couple of weeks, then to Palm Beach and then off to Saudi Arabia and Greece for most of Sept - Oct.

Friday Evening in Thousand Islands

Now in Canada for scuba diving. Two wreck dives today and same for Saturday and Sunday. Water and air temperature both about 75: F that is.

Tuesday at TRH Office

Tomorrow it's off to Thousand Islands, on the St Lawrence Seaway. I'll drop the Shelties by Lucile's on the way so they can have some time in the country. Monday, on the way back, they'll get picked-up for their return to TRH.

Richmond for a Day

Tomorrow I'm off to Richmond VA for a Friday morning meeting, then back to TRH. Next week, Wed-Sunday it's up to Thousand Islands in Canada for scuba diving. Yes, scuba diving in Canada. Sound cold?
