Thursday Morning in the Luftansa Lounge

9:30 am here in Frankfort airport. Just passing thru. After 2 hours here I've decided natives|||the are much nicer to Americans in Saudi Arabia than in Germany. I should be at TRH bz 2pm. Kezboards are more normal in Saudi too . This y is in the wrong place!!!

Wednesday Afternoon, Last Day in Riyadh

I leave at 1am tonight and get back to TRH around noon Thursday. I can travel light because I'm leaving all my "stuff" in the apartment here - since I'll be back in mid-April. I don't have to worry about what to do with my stuff until after April 30, when I go to Dubai and meet Deborah for two weeks vacation.

Saturday Night in the Cedar Lounge

I'm Beirut airport waiting for a 7pm flight to Riyadh. Visited three of the Beirut tourist sites today and took lots of pictures - and waited in lots of traffic. Road a telephreak twice - funny name for a cable car I think.

Its back to work in Riyadh tomorrow. Somehow I think I lost part of a weekend! I should be back at TRH by this time next week.

Thursday Night At the Movenpick

Two days down of the three day seminar. Maybe after that I'll get more than 100 feet away from the hotel. I do have Saturday with some time for a tour.

In Beirut Lebanon!!! A nice resort on the Coast is not a bad place to teach for three days! I'll be here until Saturday evening, then back to Riyadh. Hugh, 8-10 lane lap pool almost right on the beach!!

Sunday Afternoon on the Job

Weekend is almost over in US, but tomorrow is hump day here. This work week still confuses me!

I almost stopped blogging since nobody is commenting - but couldnt logon yesterday to update the blog, and then I got an email that somebody is reading! Thanks! So, I'll go for a bit longer.

Tuesday I'm off to Beirut for 4 days, then back to Riyadh on Saturday night. But Beirut works M-F, and Riyadh works S-W, so I teach 3 days W-F and just miss 2 days of work Wed and Sat here. So, maybe I gain a day but lose a weekend??? Got all of that?

I was about to stop blogging, from total lack of interest, and then someone sent me an email saying they saw my blog -- So thank you! I'll keep these short notes up for a while longer. But, comments are really welcome, and let me know someone besides me sees these postings.

Saturday Night at the Dulman Lounge - Bahrain airport

I made it out of Riyadh and am on way to Abu Dhabi. Passing thru Bahrain is a Zoo because their huge auto race started today. I teach two days, then its back to Riyadh on Monday night.

Friday Night at Al Hamra Palace

It's Friday!! And time to go back to work tomorrow. This Sat - Wed workweek is still hard to get used to. It was a really sand-stormy day today. The Picture is from mid-day today.

Tomorrow afternoon I fly to Abu Dhabi for a two day seminar on Sunday and Monday, then back to Riyadh on Monday night. This will be my first solo ride in the car, to the airport!!!

Made it here again. BA and BMI are a good combination to get there, but transferring thru Heathrow in London took 2.5 HOURS!!!

I'm at the Sheraton now, and later today or tomorrow will see my apartment and my leased car!!
